The 1993 year group of Bishop Essuah Memorial Junior High School in Takoradi yesterday donated 50 mono-desks to their alma-mater.

Presenting the desks to the school, the General Manager of Focus 1 Media Group, Kojo Amoako Nzoley mentioned that it is their quest to help their alma-mater 25 year down the line that actually brought them together some two years ago and upon their visit to the school it became imperative that among the many needs of the school, providing them with these desks will be the surest way to start supporting the school.

The General Manager of Raybow Hotel, Anthony Addiaba who also completed his junior high education at Bishop Essuah in 1993, told Beach 105.5 FM they are making efforts to get other year groups to also come and support the school.

According to the head teacher of Bishop Essuah Junior High School, Mr. Clement Afrane, the 1993 year group has lifted a heavy burden from the school by giving them 50 mono-desks.
He however promised to do everything in his power to properly maintain the desks for future use as well.
