The Ghana Airports Company Limited together with the Ghana civil Aviation has just confirmed the Starbow accident at the Kotoka International Airport today, Saturday 25th November.
In a press statement issued by Emergency Operatortions Centre (EOC), at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) states that the Starbow aircraft which was carrying 63 passengers and 5 crew skidded off the runway during it take-off run at about 12:20pm today.
The statement indicates that only one passenger sustained a minor injury and is currently under observation at the clinic. Meanwhile, operations at the airport are continuing normally.
