In a notable advancement for Ghana’s telecommunications sector, the National Communications Authority (NCA) has given its approval to Space X Starlink GH LTD, the provider of Starlink Satellite Broadband, to offer Satellite Broadband Services within the nation.
This decision, conveyed via an official announcement on April 25, represents a significant milestone subsequent to the Ministry of Communications and Digitalisation’s support for the Satellite Licensing Framework in Ghana.
“The procedural steps toward the issuance of the license are currently in progress and will be finalized shortly,” the statement further indicated.
