NEIP Pledges Commitment To Engage Local Entrepreneurs And Startups In The Western North Region

The Western North Coordinating Director for the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme, NEIP Emmanuel Appiah Kubi, has pledged his continued commitment to engage with local entrepreneurs and startups.

This according to him is to foster a robust business ecosystem that will contribute significantly to the sustainable development of the region.

In an interview with the media, Emmanuel Appiah Kubi stressed the significant role that entrepreneurs and Small and Medium Enterprises play in economic recovery and job generation in Ghana.

He said the program is aimed at creating jobs to reduce poverty and promote economic development by providing business development services, access to finance, and training to entrepreneurs as well as startups.

He emphasized the variety of programs and assistance services available to budding businesspeople and individuals in the Western North Region, such as the NEIP Business Incubator Hub, seed money, and mentorship opportunities.

NEIP’s goal, according to Appiah-Kubi, is to revitalize the sector by luring the region’s youth with the prospect of agricultural exploration and envisioning agricultural innovation as a catalyst for rural economic development. He acknowledged that the Western North region is a hub for agriculture.

He acknowledges that the community’s active participation, especially from young people and innovative minds, is essential to the tailored Innovation Challenge’s success.

Emmanuel Appiah-Kubi further extended a heartfelt invitation to the wider public, with a particular emphasis on the youth, and urged them to actively engage and participate in this initiative.
