A close source to the family confirmed to GhanaWeekend.com that Kofi Owusu Dua Anto, known as KODA, passed away after a brief illness in the early hours of Sunday.

KODA, a versatile artist known for his songwriting, record production, and soulful vocals, was a prominent figure in the Ghanaian gospel music industry.

While the exact cause of his death remains undisclosed, unconfirmed reports suggest that he succumbed to an illness he had been battling.

At 45 years old, KODA is survived by his wife and three children, leaving his family and fans in mourning.

Hailing from Takoradi in the Western Region, KODA was not only a gospel singer but also a respected songwriter, music producer, and skilled multi-instrumentalist.
