Director of the Girls Education Unit at the GES, Mrs. Gifty Aseidu says, the theme, Investing in Girl’s Right Leadership and Well-being Response to Pregnancy and Schooling, is significant to championing the rights of the girl child to achieve their potential.

” We have moved girl’s education to a level where we have done so much in bridging the gap in girl’s education. So interventions that we have put in place are the guidelines for the prevention of pregnancies. We also give girls the opportunity to come back to school when they drop out as a result of pregnancy,” She said.
