Dr. Bawumia reaffirms NPP’s dedication to a modern, digital-driven economy

The Vice President and presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has restated the government’s dedication to constructing a modern and resilient economy driven by digitalization.

He assured the public that the administration will persist in creating opportunities for Ghanaians to enhance their lives.

In his New Year Address to the nation, Dr. Bawumia affirmed, “Beloved Ghanaians, I must reaffirm our government’s commitment to making life better for all our citizens. We shall continue our efforts to build a modern and resilient economy, catalysed by digitalization. We shall continue to make young people future-ready. We shall continue to create greater opportunities for every man, woman, and child to fulfil their dreams and aspirations. It is possible.”

The Vice President encouraged Ghanaians to revive their sense of patriotism, urging them to remain hopeful as the government diligently implements measures to alleviate their challenges. He expressed confidence that the country’s democratic standing will once again be showcased to the world after the elections on December 7, 2024.

“I am excited and extremely confident about 2024, to be successful together, we must all dig deep and renew our spirit of patriotism. We must begin this new year with hope, and optimism of what we think we become. Let us be proud of our heritage, and work together to lift our dear country to new heights in this election year.”

“We shall be laying another layer on top of our landmark 30 years of democracy. I have absolutely no doubt that we shall once again prove to ourselves and the rest of the world that Ghana has indeed come of age.”

Dr. Bawumia emphasized the importance of national development as a catalyst for stability and peace, stating, “As we watch and listen to news from our continent, Africa, and around the world, we must never forget, that national development and our individual well-being are only possible, where there is national stability, social cohesion, and peace. Welcome to 2024, the year of possibilities,” he concluded.
