Kumasi based rapper and hit maker Kofi Jamar has asserted how astonished he was when his song “Ekoso” made wild waves all over the country.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Yoofi Eyeson on Spice Fm’s pempena show, the rapper disclosed that although he was looking forward to a positive feedback he never expected the song to be a hit.
“My team and I weren’t prepared for such a hit because we never expected it. It was too much so from that December to the next year I was totally out of balance. It was shows after shows and it was really hectic”, he said.
According to Kofi Jamar the feeling as a hit maker was great but difficult adding that being on top is stressful because one has to double up their work to sustain the fame.
