The Assembly Member of Essamang Electoral Area in the Wassa East District, Amos Adjei said a sensitization programme will be organised for hunters in the Area.

“We have met with hunters to sensitize them on their work, and we have already told them to be careful in their field of work because it is a very dangerous venture.”

“Visibility is an issue when it comes to hunting and we have advised them to be very sure it is an animal they’re shooting at before they take a shot,” He stated.

This move forms part of measures to reduce unforeseen circumstances which accompany hunting activities.

In an interview with Beach Newsroom, he narrated that this is the second time, an incident of this nature has happened, and that there’s the need for hunters to be sensitized.
