Hopeson Adorye considers his arrest as a blessing in disguise

Hopeson

Hopeson Adorye, the Director of Special Operations for the Movement for Change, characterized his arrest and subsequent court appearance as a fortuitous development.

He asserted that the incident had significantly boosted his political profile. Following his release on bail by the Dansoman Circuit Court on May 23, Adorye emphasized in a widely circulated video that his arrest had brought him considerable attention and fame.

Adorye expressed contentment with his situation, seeing his recent experience as an opportunity that typically takes decades to achieve in terms of political recognition.

The Dansoman court granted Hopeson Adorye, a prominent figure in the Movement for Change, bail set at GH¢20,000, with two sureties.

Adorye’s arrest stemmed from allegations he made on an Accra-based radio station, which subsequently gained widespread attention, claiming that dynamites were deployed in the Volta Region during the 2016 General Elections.
