Sekondi Rail Way Sex workers have resolved to burn used condoms of customers who patronize their services
This action comes on the back of rumors making rounds in the media that , sex workers sell sperms belonging to their male customers to spiritualists.
According to Ato Robert, Assistant Chairman of the volunteer group in the area, a pit would be dug, in which the sex workers can drop off used condoms to be burnt under the supervisor of volunteers.
He further said, the condoms would be burnt with other waste so as to avoid people from getting hold of used condoms.
“During one of our meetings we decided to dig out a deep pit, where the prostitutes can throw away their waste. In this manner, we can burn the used condoms so that bad persons won’t get hold of them,” he said.
He stared again that, the volunteers would ensure peace and harmony.
