The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Takoradi Constituency Communication Director, Emmanuel Avidor, popularly known as Efo de Commander has taken a swipe at John Mahama and the National Democratic Congress saying they were unable to build a hospital in the Western Region.

Speaking at the Western Regional Minister’s community engagement series, he although the John Mahama administration borrowed monies, no hospital was built.

“John Mahama and the NDC have never built any hospital in the western region. But President Akufo-Addo with borrowing rate of 379% has given western region 11 hospitals. President Akufo-Addo has Wassa Dunkwa hospital, Tarkwa Nsuaem hospital, Elubo hospital, two hospitals in Ahanta West, CDH hospital, Bogoso hospital, Mpohor hospital, and so on.”

He further challenged the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), to name any hospital built in the Western Region under their administration.

“I am challenging the NDC to name one single hospital they initiated, built and commissioned in the Western Region from 2009 to 2016. I dare the NDC to show us a single hospital they have built for us”, he stressed.
