“Listen to no one, Gospel musicians in Takoradi are united and supportive” -Efua Black

One of the fast rising and vibrant gospel musician in Takoradi in the Western Region, Efua Black, has disclosed that rumors about gospel musicians in Takoradi not being each other’s keeper is a big fallacy.

The Gospel musicians asserted that the definition of unity and peace is the gospel fraternity in Takoradi.

Efua Black revealed that her concert dubbed “The Holy Ghost concert” which was held last week Sunday (please insert date) was willingly graced and supported by gospel musicians from the region.

The most shocking part of her revelation was the fact that none of them charged a dime.

“Whatever people say about gospel musicians in Takoradi is not true. I’ve not been in the industry for long but I have realized that there is love and unity in the gospel fraternity. The support is mind blowing”, she propounded.

When she was asked whether she was getting the love because of her good relationship with them, she explained, “I didn’t have any kind of relationship with them until I came into the industry and I’ve not even been in the industry for long. The love and support is just there and anyone that says otherwise has personal problem.”

Speaking to Nana Ama Shancy on Spice FM’s Penpenaa entertainment talk show on Saturday, she suggested that the only way both gospel and secular musicians can thrive is to be serious with whatever they are doing and dwell less on the negatives.

She further pleaded with all musicians in the region to desist from negative stories and clouts.
