The General Secretary of the Industrial and Commercial Workers Union (ICU-Ghana), Morgan Ayawine says, the current economic hardship is impacting sectors such as Agriculture and Industries and it is therefore prudent that government invests a chunk of the IMF grant to stimulate these sectors.
Mr Ayawine says the agricultural and industrial sectors are the pillars to boost the country’s socioeconomic development and help create jobs for the teeming unemployed youth.
He, however, appealed to the Roads and Highway Minister, Kwesi Amoako Atta to fix roads to facilitate the transportation of farm produce.
