Stand-up comedy fans in the Western Region can finally heave a sigh of relief as one of Ghana’s finest comedians, Lekzy De Comic, hints at a plan to start a comedy club in the Sekondi-Takoradi enclave.
Ahead of his first event in 2024, Lekzy, as part of his tour, engaged with the region’s media.
Speaking to Kelvin Kofi Danso on the Sunset Beach on Beach FM reveals this.
“My first show in 2024 is in Takoradi, when I start and the people patronise it, it will encourage me to do more here and the dream is to start a comedy club here.”
Lekzy invites patrons to a historic comedy event dubbed “Lekzy Club Tour-Lov-Ter Edition” on Saturday, February 17 at the Calendars, Takoradi, in the Western Region.
The show will feature renowned comedians like OB Amponsah, Foster Romanus, and MJ The Comedian, among others.
