Prioritize Your Time As Students – St. John’s SHS Students Urged
Students at Saint John’s School in the Sekondi Metro have been urged to manage their time effectively and efficiently.
Speaking at a day seminar to educate students on ‘Proper Time Management, the Regional Budget Analyst at the Western Regional Coordinating Council, Daniel Ofosu Adjei, said that as students who aspire to be future leaders, they must know how to utilize their time well.
Apart from that studdents were encouraged to take their studies seriously to attain the highest in the education ladder.
” They are our future leaders, and we ought to let them know what is the resource ‘time’ is used for. Besides time management, they should take their studies serious and aspire to entire into higher institutions,”
On her part, Madam Regina Ayiworoh of the Department of Social Welfare stressed the need for young adults to focus on their books, and not indulge in unhealthy activities.
She advised against premarital sexual activities, adding that engaging in such practices could jeopardise one’s future.
She noted that, “whenever thee is an opporuinty we try to educate the youth on how to protect themselves.
Every life is supposed to be managed. We had the opportuinty to speak to them about abstaining from sexual escapades whihc can destroy their future,”
The Executive Director of Time With The Future Leaders, Harold Ewusi-Ampah revealed the motive behind the organization of the event.
He explained that time is the differential distinction between the rich and the poor.
Mr. Harold however called on corporate bodies, and individuals to support their agenda in subsequent events.
