With its vision of raising influential great leaders and mission of enhancing academic excellence through mentorship, motivational speeches and counselling, Time With The Future Leaders has organised a day seminar for students of Saint John’s Senior High School in Sekondi.
The seminar was on the theme; ‘Proper Time Management’ aims to equip students with the requisite skills of managing time to achieve high academic excellence towards a brighter and prosperous future.
The Executive Director of the organisation, Harold Ewusi Ampah said the choice of the topic is to make students see the need to manage their time as they grow to become responsible leaders in society and the country at large.
” Time management because we want students to understand what time is. Until you have an understanding of something you won’t be able to do your best. But, it is only when you have an understanding of what you are doing that you will be able to do what you want to do.
We want them to understand what management is, what time is and what they can do with both to achieve high academic excellence,”
The event was attended by the Regional Budget Analyst at the Western Regional Coordinating Council, Daniel Ofosu Adjei and Madam Regina Ayiworoh of the Department of Social Welfare.
They both had time to share with students the importance of managing their time and leading virtuous lives pleasing to people in society and God.
Speaking to Beach News, some students expressed how glad they were to be part of the event and said the event was worth attending.
The event was supported by the Western Regional Coordinating Council (WRCC), the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly (STMA), the Metro Education Directorate under the Ghana Education Service (GES) and the Department of Social Welfare (DSW).
