The Ghana Education Service (GES) has reinstated Mr. Kenneth Agbomazde to continue his work as the Headmaster of the Fijai Senior High School in the Western Region of Ghana.
In a statement signed by the Head of Public Relations Unit of the Ghana Education Service, Western Region Director of the Ghana Education Service is to hand over the administration of the school to the headmaster effective May 8, 2023.
“I have been directed by the director general to reinstate you effective 8th May, 2023 based on the outcome of the investigative committee’s report on the alleged collection of illegal levies in the school.
“The regional director is to hand over the administration of the school to you and accord you the necessary support for you to function effectively”, part of the statement indicated.
The headmaster was interdicted a few weeks ago following allegations of illegal fees collection.
He was referred to an investigative committee but the PTA of the school indicated in a series of interviews that the allegations were wrong.
They have on countless statements proven the innocence of the headmaster and called on the Ghana Education Service to reinstate him.
