A recent exchange between two prominent figures in the music industry, Gyedu-Blay Ambolley and KOD, turned heated after a controversial comment made by Ambolley. In response to Ambolley’s opinion, KOD described it as “nonsense” and stated that Highlife musicians had failed to evolve with the times and were now blaming an awards scheme.

This comment sparked a back-and-forth exchange between the two, with Ambolley firing back by calling KOD “shallow-minded.” KOD then responded by calling Ambolley “insincere” and a “charlatan,” leading to a further escalation of the situation.
