I Don’t Have Any Problem with Kidi If Truly He Stole The “Champagne” Title from Me-Ayesem

For some time now, Ghanaians have been debating on the fact that Kidi’s song “Champagne” was stolen from Ayesem’s “Champagne”, one of Western region’s renowned Artiste.

It could be recalled that Ayesem first dropped a short video of his song “Champagne” asking his fans the appropriate time to release the single. In no time Kidi came out with the same song title ‘Champagne’ which got Ghanaians thinking and others arguing on this topic.

Speaking with Yoofi Eyeson on Spice Fm’s Pimpinaa show, Ayesem made it clear that even if he stole the title, he has no problem with him. He further added that the industry is all about creativity and the fact he didn’t steal the entire lyrics but just the title, he hold no grudges against him.

”For me mimicking another artistes’ words or title in your song is okay so far as the whole lyrics are not the same. It’s all about creativity because this is a creative art industry. It could even be that he wrote the song long ago before I did mine, how about that?”, He questioned .

So Ghanaians can rest now since the artiste in question obviously holds no grudges against Kidi if truly he stole the song title ‘Champagne’ from Ayesem.

Finally Ayesem’s “Champagne” is out as requested by fans as a Christmas banger and it’s enjoying massive airplay as we are approaching Christmas.

It’s all about Champagne this Christmas.
