Following an expensive pricing on products and services, Ghanaian actress and producer Yvonne Nelson questioned the President of Ghana’s relevance.

Yvonne Nelson, who was well-known for organizing a number of protests against the former administration of John Dramani Mahama, has criticized the current administration harshly for its poor leadership.

The well-known actress has frequently criticized President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufu’s New Patriotic Party for its terrible governance.

In her tweet, she asked the president if he still had power over Ghanaians and cited the impoverished people’s complaints about exorbitant prices for goods and services.

She posted after finding out that the eye drop (xalacom) she used to buy for GHC 120 now costs GHC 300.

She Wrote

Mr President, @NAkufoAddo , this eye drop ( xalacom) was 120ghc , its now 273ghc and even 300ghc in some pharmacies. I need to use this every evening, without it, the pressures on my eye will go up and will result in glaucoma. How many Ghanaians do you…

think can afford this? Are you still president? Are you still in this country? Do you hear the people crying? Are you this heartless? No more campaigns ahead so you are unbothered? You obviously feel nothing for Ghanaians. Such a disappointment. The country…

Is bleeding…its that bad! We cannot live this way! Are you able to sleep at night? People close to you arent telling you? You have failed every citizen! @NAkufoAddo
