YEA Defends Decision To Recruit SHS Graduates To Assist In CHPS Compound

The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) has defended its decision to recruit Senior High School graduates to assist in Community Health Planning and Services (CHPS) Compound.

The Public Relations Officer, Awal Mohammed says the module is not new and has existed since 2016.

“This is something that has been running from 2016 up till today when it started as National Youth Employment Programme, so it is nothing new but we are only complimenting the work of the health service. This is part of our ten (10) modules, I mean the health module that also runs , and as part of it we have the axillary nurses to help with health delivery in the community across the country.
