STCCI launches Chamber’s Market App To Improve Online Trade.

The Sekondi-Takoradi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (STCCI) has launched its online market platform at the Best Western Plus Atlantic hostel in their bid to bring the business community on one digital stage to facilitate easy transaction of business.

The platforms which has cafefully been developed to allow effective participation by all industries is also expected to allow both buyers and sellers transact business in a safe and organised environment.

Speaking at the event, Mr Nii Kpani Addy, Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of STCCI in his speech announced “that the platform will allow users to promote, trade and own their virtual store at convenience” .

The Western Regional Minister, Mr. Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah in his speech also commended the STCCI for instituting such an online platform for businesses especially the domestic ones in the middle of a pandemic which has halted business transactions across the world.

“I have always believed that the people of Sekondi-Takoradi have great minds and solutions to drive our ‘Enterprise Growth Pole’ I have always been preaching on since I became a regional minister; this is another made in Tadi and comparable to Alibaba in business,” he said.

He further added that the digital directory and online site will boost the capability of Small Micro and Medium Enterprises (SMME’s) to grow and trade in the world of business.
