Tension Mounts as Heavy National Security and Police Personnel Storm LGBTQ

Spice News has established that security personnel have finally responded to President Akufo Addo’s order to shut Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual and Transgender Quarters (LGBTQ).

In more detail, reports available say a combined team of heavily armed police accompanied by also armed plain cloth National Security officials reportedly stormed the LGBTQ building and ordered all operations and activities ceased immediately with occupants to vacate premises.

The closure was confirmed by Lawyer Moses Foh Amoaning who is the Executive Secretary of the National Coalition for Proper Human Sexual Rights and Family Values.

Lawyer Foh-Amoaning had earlier called on the government to close down the newly opened LGBT office in Tesano.

According to him, his coalition is made up of the Christian Council and the Catholic Bishops Conference, the Muslim community as well as the traditional rulers, making it a tripartite coalition fighting this LGBT agenda in Ghana which could turn its heat on Akufo-Addo should he fail to heed.

Giving the background of the LGBTQ movement, Lawyer Foh-Amoaning said that its formation started in New York City and extended to California and has since spread throughout the world now coming to Ghana.

This latest move will not be pleasing to the European Union (EU) which played a key role in the opening of the office. The EU in Ghana said it fully supports gay rights and called on Ghanaians to respect all human rights.
