Mahama Promise To Pay Monies Of Aggrieve Customers Of Collapse Banks Within A Year

The Presidential Candidate of the opposition party NDC and Former President of Ghana, John Mahama has promised to pay all the monies of all aggrieved customers of collapsed financial institutions in his first year of office.

He explained that funds locked up with the defunct financial outfits will be paid to customers within a year after assuming the office.

He made this promised yesterday in his communications as he officially revealed his running mate Prof. Jean Naana Opoku Agyemang.

“I pledge on behalf of the NDC that we shall pay within one year all who have funds locked with the collapsed Financial Institutions. Within one year. I promise”. He claimed.

Many banks have been collapsed by the Central Bank following a clean up exercise in various financial institutions.

The exercise led to the collapse of some big banks in Ghana which made about thousands lost their monies without refund.
