Western Regional Minister Joseph Nelson commits to supporting Takoradi Technical University’s development

Western Regional Minister Joseph Nelson has pledged his full support to Takoradi Technical University (TTU) in its pursuit of infrastructure development and academic excellence.

This commitment came during a courtesy call by TTU’s management to welcome the newly appointed Minister.

Minister Nelson acknowledged TTU’s significant contributions to human resource development in the Western Region.

He also promised to strengthen the existing partnership between the university and the Regional Coordinating Council (RCC).

He assured the university of his unwavering commitment to tackling its challenges, particularly those affecting the Akatakyei campus, where illegal mining activities have posed a significant concern.

While reiterating his open-door policy, Minister Joseph Nelson reaffirmed his unwavering support for Takoradi Technical University’s progress, ensuring a collaborative and productive relationship between the university and his administration.

The Vice Chancellor of Takoradi Technical University (TTU), Rev. Prof. John Frank Eshun, highlighted the university’s core mandate during a visit.

He emphasized TTU’s commitment to driving capacity building, research, and regional development, which are pivotal to the university’s mission.
