I would have sacked majority of my staff if I was the one paying them – STMA Boss

The Metro Chief Executive of Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis, Abdul Mumin Issah has said he would have fired a lot of staff from his office if he was the one paying them at the end of every month.

According to him, there are majority of staff at his office who are doing nothing but get paid at the end of the month simply because it a governmental job.

Speaking to pressmen at the launch of the 50th anniversary of Kwansa Auto Mobile Company Limited on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at the Company’s head office in Takoradi, Mr Mumin Issah urged the Ghanaian youths to endeavor to set up their own businesses and desist from depending on government for jobs since there is no space.

He reiterated that there are lot of people at the assembly who are virtually doing nothing because there is no job for them to do but get paid at the end of every month, stressing that if he was the one paying them he would have asked them to go home.
