Poor Performance Of NPP Caused John Boadu’s Defeat – NDC Communicator

The Member of the National Democratic Congress(NDC) Kojo Osei Nuamah in the Western Region has commented on the defeat of NPP General Secretary, John Boadu at the National Delegates Conference.

He asserts that the outgone Secretary’s conquest can be attributed to mismanagement of the country’s economy by the ruling party as prices of goods and services keep sky-rocketing,

Kojo Nuamah also said, the inability to compile the album of the TESCON to exercise their franchise accounts for John Boadu’s defeat.

” How come the intellectuals of the party be left out from the voting process.? The Chief Executive Officer who is also the General Secretary failed to compile the list of TESCON showed that he was going to lose. Again, he has suffered the effect of how bad his party has performed.”

He said, the development of the country should be built on nationalism and that is what the NDC seeks to achieve. Mr Nuamah resorted that the works of Ex-President John Dramani Mahama aided the current party to manage the COVID-19 pandemic.

He added that the grassroots are the backbone of every political party and shouldn’t be neglected when voted into power.

” The grassroots who voted you into office must be the focus and so whatever you do must be in the interest of the people.”

For him, NPP policies implemented under this government has failed because it did not contribute enough to cushion the economy during the pandemic.

” Today the implementation of their policies and programs alone should have been the cushion of the economy. The 11D1F should have contributed immensely to the reduction of unemployment rate. Every policy by the NPP has falied.”
