Former Nigerian beauty queen wanted for alleged drug trafficking involvement

Nigerian

Nigerian authorities have issued a warrant for the arrest of a former beauty queen, Aderinoye Queen Christmas, also known as Queen Oluwadamilola Aderinoye, on suspicion of drug trafficking.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) stated that Christmas evaded capture during a recent raid on her residence in Lagos, following credible intelligence linking her to illegal drug activities.

According to an official statement, the raid uncovered significant evidence, including “606 grams of Canadian Loud, a synthetic strain of cannabis, an electronic weighing scale, large quantities of drugs packing plastics,” in her home.

Formerly holding the title of Miss Commonwealth Nigeria Culture 2015/2016 and the founder of the Queen Christmas Foundation, Christmas has refrained from commenting on the accusations.

In a related incident, NDLEA reported the arrest of another suspect at Murtala Muhammed International Airport who had ingested 60 large wraps of cocaine while returning from Brazil.
