Adwoa Safo says she is unfazed by Dome market women’s boos

Sarah Adwoa Safo, the MP for Dome Kwabenya, isn’t bothered by the negative reception she received from some market women during her recent visit in the Dome constituency.

A video circulated on social media shows her getting jeered and booed as she tried to engage with the women, who expressed their dissatisfaction with her.

In response, Safo chose to focus on interacting with other traders who were more welcoming.

In an interview, Safo acknowledged the concerns of the dissatisfied market women and assured them of her commitment to addressing their issues, particularly the completion of the stalled market project, which was a major concern.

She mentioned that not everyone will be in her favor, quoting a song to emphasize this point. Despite the dissent, she believes she still has support from the women in Dome market and expects their backing on election day.

Additionally, Safo clarified that her visit to the market was at the request of a significant portion of the market women.
