Taxi Driver Tied With Ropes killed in his Car at Manpong
A Taxi driver has been murdered at Manpong a suburb of the Sekondi Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly yesterday . His hands and legs were been tide with bruces all over his body.
The lifeless body of the victim which was lying at the back seat of the Kia Picanto with Registration number WR 1514-17 was picked by the Kwesimintsim Police and deposited at the Mogue.
According eye witness the incident happen at the early hours of the morning where the attention of the community was drawn to
the incident.
The Assemblyman of the Ntankoful Kansaworodo Assembly, Isaac Hegan expressed surprised about the incidence since he could not comprehend with the intentions of the culprits.
He added that “if their intentions was to steal the Car, a key was left in the Car and perpetrators could have left with it. At this point it will be difficult to attribute the incident to any single cause but rather it is important to leave it in the hands of the police for further investigations”.
Kwesimintsim Police arrived at the scene around 8:30am to assess the situation for further investigation where they later sent the corpse to the Effia Nkwanta Mogue for optopsy.
A copy of the victim’s licenses was found in the Car with the name Quaidoo Frederick with a date of birth, 01/12/1984.
On the other hand, some Residents used the opportunity to call on the Authorities to Fix the street lights in the community to reduce potential crimes.
