Western Region leaders hold inaugural development dialogue

The Western Region took a significant step toward inclusive governance and regional development on Tuesday, as key political actors, traditional leaders, and government officials convened for a high-level development dialogue in Sekondi.
The event, spearheaded by the Western Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Nelson, was organized through the Western Regional Coordinating Council in collaboration with the Western Regional House of Chiefs.

The maiden dialogue brought together top figures from the ruling party, including Ministers of State and senior political appointees from the Mahama-led administration, all of whom trace their roots to the region. The gathering aimed to foster collaboration between traditional authority and political leadership to address the Western Region’s development challenges.
