Dr. Bawumia donates GH¢200,000 and cement to aid traders affected by Kumasi fire

Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has made a generous donation of GH¢200,000 and 1,000 bags of cement to support traders affected by the recent fire outbreak at Adum in Kumasi.

The fire, which occurred on Friday, March 24, destroyed several shops and stalls, leaving goods worth millions of Ghana cedis in ruins.

On Tuesday, March 25, Dr. Bawumia visited the site to express his condolences to the affected traders. He called on Ghanaians and private businesses to lend their support in helping these traders recover. He encouraged others to assist in getting the affected individuals back on their feet.

This donation forms part of ongoing efforts to provide relief to the victims and help restore business operations in the area.

Authorities are still in the process of evaluating the full extent of the damage caused by the fire.
