Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs steps aside at Revolt TV amidst sexual assault allegations

Diddy

Amidst three sexual assault lawsuits, Sean “Diddy” Combs has temporarily stepped down as chairman of a TV network he helped create.

Revolt clarified on social media that Combs hasn’t been actively involved in the network’s operations.

R&B artist Cassie accused Combs of assault, but they settled the lawsuit swiftly. Subsequently, two more accusers came forward, which Combs dismissed as motivated by money.

Revolt announced Combs’ decision to step aside, emphasizing their commitment to their mission.

Dawn Montgomery, a podcast co-host, declined to return for the show’s next season, citing her status as a sexual assault survivor and her discomfort with Combs leading the company.

The media mogul co-founded Revolt in 2013, but it’s uncertain if he’ll resume his role as chairman.

No official statement regarding this matter has been released.

The lawsuits involve allegations from Cassie Ventura, a psychology student named Joi Dickerson-Neal, and a recent claim by an anonymous plaintiff involving an incident from the 1990s.

Combs’ lawyer maintains that settling with Cassie Ventura wasn’t an admission of guilt.

The recent lawsuits, according to Combs’ representative, are baseless claims aimed at extorting money, alleging events that supposedly occurred over 30 years ago.

These lawsuits emerged as New York’s Adult Survivors Act, allowing victims of sex crimes to sue even after the statute of limitations, reached its conclusion.
