Adu-Mante Foundation donates to muslim community at Sekondi

Muslims around the globe observe the holy month of Ramadan every year, a period of deep spiritual reflection and fasting.

Ramadan sees Muslims all over the world fasting and praying before breaking their fast at sundown.

For this reason, the Adu-Mante Foundation has donated cartons of bottled water, beverages, bags of rice, gallons of cooking oil, and other items to the Hajia Bushira Mosque at the Sekondi Zongo.

This move comes as a form of support during the Ramadan period.

Director of Focus 1 Group, Mrs. Evelyn Adu-Mante, presenting the items, said that the Foundation is committed to the welfare of Muslims and decided to assist them in this fasting period.

“We came here to give. We’ve been doing this for a very long time, and this time around, we want to adopt the Muslim communities, so we decided that every Ramadan, we will come and give. We are here to give so that you’ll have something to give to other people when you are ending the fasting.”

Receiving the items, Khalifa Nasir Ali expressed profound gratitude to the Adu-Mante Foundation for the kind gesture and prayed to the Almighty for blessings for the entity.

“It is not about what you have, but about what you do with what you have. The Quran says, we should give because there’s happiness in giving. God also loves a cheerful giver.”
