Focus One CEO inspires TTU students with entrepreneurial vision

Chief Executive of Focus One Group, Mr. Kwame Adu Mante has implored students to identify the needs of society and bring solutions to them.

According to him, this move can lead to self-reliance and shape them into entrepreneurs to create employment.

Speaking at the launch of the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, GNCCI at the Takoradi Technical University, Mr. Adu Mante recounted his entrepreneurial journey dating back to the Polytechnic era, where he took advantage of aiding lecturers to produce handouts for students.

He highlighted determination and hard work as the hallmarks of his journey.

He urged the students to take advantage of the Junior Chamber established by GNCCI to develop their entrepreneurial skills to drive economic development and industrial growth.

” There were lots of things I did on campus that I never knew were entrepreneurial, but little by little it pushed me up. I’m just using myself as an example for you. You need to understand that the entrepreneurial journey begins with little steps by identifying the needs of society and solving them.

I began by being consistent with what I did. We were not fortunate to have a chamber set up on campus, so that we will be guided, but today you have a rare opportunity.

And with that rare opportunity, also comes its challenges because the world that I live in and survive is different from yours,” He said.

The event was organised under the theme, “Empowering the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs.”
