Adu Mante Foundation marks 14th year of giving with love donation to Sekondi Central Prison

On Valentine’s Day, the Adu Mante Foundation served over 600 inmates of the Sekondi Central Prison with acts of kindness.

Items presented included packs of hot meals, boxes of detergents and soaps, cartons of water, assorted drinks, sanitary pads, medical supplies, and boxes of chocolate.

The inmates also were given words of encouragement, urging them not to lose faith in God but to trust in him, knowing that he loves them.

The expression of love makes the 14th year of giving to the inmates of Sekondi Prisons, as part of the Adu Mante Foundation.

Notable among the items presented was a barbering kit to be used for trimming by the inmates.

Human Resource Manager of the Foundation, Mrs Portia Effah Boakye, speaking on behalf of the Chief Executive, Kwame Adu Mante, and Mrs Evelyn Adu Mante, said that the gesture was to put smiles on the faces of the inmates.

“14 years ago, the Adu Mante Foundation started a journey that sought to tackle critical social needs in areas of education, health, sanitation, etc. Sekondi prison has been part of many institutions that receive this annual gesture, and today creates yet another opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to making you smile. “

The Assistant Superintendent of Prisons, Madam Portia Anane, thanked the group for its thoughtfulness and kind gesture.

“Thank you to the Adu Mante Foundation and Focus 1 Media for choosing Sekondi Prisons in this season of love and for giving us this gift.”
