The Member of Parliament for Ellembelle, Hon. Emmanuel Kofi Buah, has announced the construction of a GH¢700,000 hospital in Santaso, a community within his constituency.
In an interview on Beach FM, he made it clear that this is his fourth healthcare intervention in the area, demonstrating his commitment to improving the well-being of his constituents.
The hospital’s construction addresses the community’s long-standing healthcare challenges.
Residents, mostly cocoa farmers, had to travel long distances for medical care, resulting in suffering and even deaths, especially among pregnant women.
Hon. Buah’s efforts went beyond building the hospital. He said he provided a motorbike to the Ellembele directorate to support healthcare delivery and donated GH¢55,000 to rehabilitate a broken-down ambulance.
For Hon. Buah, supporting his constituents’ healthcare needs is crucial.
He believes that winning the hearts of the people involves helping them and working hard to address their concerns, whilst expressing his confidence of winning the upcoming election.
