The New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Essikado -Ketan Constituency organized a successful ” Onuawonto Walk” on Saturday, November 23, 2024.
Th walk began from Ntankoful, passing through Diabene to Kojokrom.
The event was attended by party supporters and dignitaries, including Mr. Charles Bissue, who delivered a keynote message at the close of the event. Despite the heavy rainfall, Mr. Bissue expressed his gratitude to the supporters for their participation.
Mr. Bissue acknowledged the good works of Joe Ghartey, the former Member of Parliament for the Essikado-Ketan constituency, and thanked him for his contributions to the constituency. He also pledged to serve the constituency well and perform his duties effectively if elected as a Member of Parliament.
Mr. Bissue urged party supporters to campaign actively for the NPP in the upcoming December 7 elections. He highlighted some of the notable achievements of the NPP government, including the introduction of the Ghana Card, Free Senior High School (SHS) education, and the Rental Scheme.
Mr. Bissue appealed to the supporters to vote for him and the NPP’s presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, to ensure the continuation of these policies.
He noted that Dr. Bawumia has more time to implement his vision for the country, unlike the NDC’s candidate, John Dramani Mahama, who has only four years left to serve.
