Amenfi West Municipal Chief Executive, Hon Lord Nana Tandoh, has led a team of taskforce to demolish dozens of structures used as camping base and business hub by commercial sex workers in the Municipality.
The activities of the illegal sex workers in the country has continued to be the impediment of the moral upbringing of the future leaders of the country.
The said activities are taking charge in the mining areas as the Nigerian-dominant business seem to satisfy some of the miners and inhabitants of the affected communities.
Hon Lord Nana Tandoh, as part of developing the Municipality, led a team of the Municipal Security Council (MUSEC) comprising the personnel of Ghana Police Service, Immigration, National Security, and Fire service to ransack and broke the structures in which the illicit act happen.
The structures mainly made of plywood, and polythene are situated in the heart of Asankrangwa, Aboi Nkwanta and Wassa Dunkwa.
Sharing the joy from their hearts, residents in the communities told beach Newsroom that their marriages are on the verge of collapsing and they can no longer guarantee their wards of better future due to the activities of these foreigners.
Speaking to the media about the exercise, Hon Lord Nana Tandoh emphasized that, their activities pose Security treat since no one can know what or whom they might be bringing to their various places. He again said, this will not a one day exercise but will ensure that they deal with those people in such activities. He addimited that, we are ECOWAS State and know people from other countries will be coming into Ghana and places like this BUT not to get into activities that will put the future of our Children into a Danger.
