Deputy Chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC), Dr. Eric Bossman Asare, announced that regional presidential results from all 16 regions will be declared before the national results in the upcoming December 7 elections.
This decision is aimed at enhancing transparency during the voting process.
Speaking at the launch of CODEO’s Election Monitoring System, Dr. Bossman Asare reaffirmed the EC’s commitment to conducting free and fair elections.
He outlined the result-collation process, stating, “After polling, results from each station will be sent to constituency centres, then to regional centres.
The Commission will announce presidential results for each region.”
He added, “What the Commission is doing is that we will announce presidential results for each region. The parties are well aware of this process.”
