This is my time to serve my people – Lawyer Boamah

The Parliamentary Candidate in the Effia Constituency, Lawyer Isaac Boamah says, his support for the constituents is borne out of making an impact in their lives, and not to score political points.

Speaking to Arafat Musah, on the Western Echo Show, Lawyer Boamah mentions that long before contesting for the seat, he has been offering support to indigenes of Effia, in the area of jobs, health and education.

According to Lawyer Boamah, being elected as the MP in the upcoming general elections would give him, more room to serve the constituents.

He opined that ‘now is the time to serve the people of Effia’ because he has the people’s interest at heart.

” My support for the people of Effia had not been because I want to be a Member of Parliament, I’ve been supporting them right from the time, I showed myself up to do politics, I’ve created job opportunities for people, even when I was not even the PC for the people,”

I’ve been given support to Tertiary students, nurses and anybody who requires support to the best of my ability when I was never a political candidate. I’m not a government appointee, I’m just a private person,”

If they were geared towards the political season, I would have started long ago, so this is my time to come and serve my people, ” Lawyer Boamah stated.

Lawyer Isaac Boamah emphasized that the NPP is committed to improving infrastructural development for the people of Effia.

He mentioned that constituencies with massive numbers in terms of votes tend to benefit from the government’s interventions.

He said, ” Now in politics if you want to be a voice, your constituency should be able to bring some of the numbers that become game-changing in political decisions. If you go to the Ashanti region or Volta region, the NDC doesn’t have to worry so much about the numbers because they know that when it comes to the Volta region, at least, 70 -75 will come from there. Same in the Ashanti region, ‘

So whenever there are benefits, it comes to those who are able to bring the numbers to the political table,”

Lawyer Boamah added that ” Effia has the potential of breaking the 70 percent mark, not only because they are voting for the NPP but NPP also put together one of the best candidates for them. And NPP seeks to serve the best interests of the people in Effia”
