Member of Parliament for Kwesimintsim, Dr Prince Hamid Armah, is sceptical about the track record of former Education Minister, Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang.
Dr Armah said he does not think the National Democratic Congress (NDC) running mate will be happy with her track record.
The MP who is the Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Education manifesto made his comments today.
Electorates have been comparing the performance of Prof Opoku-Agyemang and the NPP running mate, Dr Matthew Opoku-Prempeh as former Education Ministers in their respective government.
However, according to Dr Armah, Prof Opoku-Agyemang comes nowhere close to Dr Opoku-Prempeh when it comes to assessment of their performance.
Acknowledging he will be biased towards Napo as he is popularly known for having worked with him, the MP however stated the handing over notes of the duo will better judge their performance.
“To have a good comparison, you need the handing over note that the NDC gave in 2016 and the one that Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh in 2021. I worked with him and he is hardworking and an achiever.
That is why he is known everywhere since he was made the running mate. As for Prof. Naana Opoku Agyeman, she was a lecturer and a vice chancellor but I doubt she is happy with her , own education record. When she was in office, it was Ablakwa who was running the office because she couldn’t differentiate between politics and education,” Dr. Armah said.
