There’s a lot of fake love in the music industry -Teflon Flexx
Teflon Flexx, an artist and content creator, has disclosed how one needs to be careful in the industry because people tend to show fake love.
He made this revelation during an interview on Spice FM’s after-drive show, “Ofie ne fie” with Nana Ama Shancy.
In a recent candid reflection on the Ghanaian music industry, artist Teflon Flexx voiced his concerns about the prevalent issue of insincerity and superficial relationships within the sector. According to Flexx, the industry is rife with “fake love,” a term he uses to describe the disingenuous connections and relationships that often overshadow genuine support and collaboration.
“There’s a lot of fake love in our industry which I’d love to change because unity is power. Even though I have friends in the music industry, I’m well aware of the fake love and I play my cards well”, he voiced out.
Flexx expressed a strong desire to transform this aspect of the industry if given the opportunity. He pointed out that while he maintains a network of friends within the music scene, he is acutely aware of the underlying dynamics at play.
This awareness has led him to adopt a strategic approach to navigating the industry, ensuring that he remains cautious and discerning in his interactions.
The artist’s comments shed light on a broader issue of authenticity and trust in the Ghanaian music industry. In an environment where superficiality can often undermine true artistic collaboration and progress, Flexx’s insights emphasize the need for more genuine relationships and transparent interactions among industry players.
His vision for change reflects a commitment to fostering a more supportive and authentic music community, where artists and stakeholders can build meaningful connections and work together toward mutual success.
