NDC Pusiga warns NPP against inflammatory language

Pusiga

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) executives in the Pusiga constituency of the Upper East Region have cautioned the New Patriotic Party (NPP) against the use of indecent language, which they argue could exacerbate political tensions in the area.

The NDC has called on the national executives of the NPP to rein in their members in the constituency, warning that continued inflammatory rhetoric could lead to serious repercussions.

At a press conference, Alale Baba Atimbila, the NDC Communication Officer for Pusiga, expressed concerns over divisive and inflammatory statements made by NPP members.

He stressed that such behavior could disrupt the peace in the constituency and urged the NPP to cease actions that might escalate tensions.

He also defended Hajia Laadi Ayamba, a prominent figure in the constituency, against recent verbal attacks, emphasizing that any further disrespect towards her would not be tolerated by the people of Pusiga.

He warned that continued attacks could result in political consequences for the NPP and its candidate in the constituency.
