NDC’s Parliamentary Candidate for the Essikado -Ketan Constituency, Dr. Grace Ayensu Danquah says, she is committed to investing in skills training of the youth in the constituency to lead to self-supporting skills.
Dr. Grace Ayensu Danquah said that with such mechanisms in place, the youth will be developed and empowered in the area.
She made this statement in an interview on Beach FM, whilst pointing out that the youth receives skills in soap making, and bakery amongst others.
Dr. Grace Ayensu Danquah expressed confidence that the constituents would vote for her given the kind of transformations she has brought to the Constituency.
” I think the people in the Constituency have seen my good works, they have seen that given the mandate, I will deliver. Already, they have seen that I’m working very hard for the constituency,”
They have seen that, I have dedicated my entire life to uplifting the constituency and more importantly the people especially the youth,”
“When it comes to jobs, right now the people that, I’ve provided so many jobs. I am recruiting young women and men to do hairdressing and seamstressing. Not only that I’m also doing skills training, we’ve opened the skills training centre. Two weeks ago, we did soap making in Bronyikrom in Kojokrom, where 350 women were trained in soap making,”
