“When Dr. Bawumia becomes President, he will do even more than Nana Addo” -NAPO

NAPO has praised the Akufo-Addo-led administration for its exceptional performance, claiming it has outshone all previous govt's in history.

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the running mate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and popularly known as NAPO, has praised the Akufo-Addo-led administration for its exceptional performance, claiming it has outshone all previous governments in Ghana’s history.

During the official launch of the Ashanti Regional NPP Campaign Working Committees and Women’s Conference in Kumasi, Dr. Prempeh highlighted the government’s significant accomplishments across various sectors.

He called on party members to unite and support the NPP under the leadership of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for a victorious outcome in the 2024 general elections.

“No administration has governed the country and commenced the construction of 111 hospitals. No government in this country has built schools like Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has done. No government has established universities like Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has done,” Dr. Prempeh emphasized.

He further noted, “no government has employed over 200,000 nurses and doctors like Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. No government has employed teachers in the numbers that Nana Addo has, and no government has faced such intense hunger, a pandemic, and provided free food, light, and water like the Akufo-Addo administration.”

Dr. Prempeh also highlighted the increase in the Livelihood Empowerment Against Poverty (LEAP) program under the current administration, stating, “even LEAP, which is given to the poor, has been increased three times under Nana Addo, benefiting about 300,000 people.”

He concluded by expressing confidence in Dr. Bawumia’s potential to build on Akufo-Addo’s legacy, saying, “I believe when Dr. Bawumia becomes President, he will do even more than Nana Addo. So, I need to commend Nana Addo before Dr. Bawumia takes over.”
