KOD criticizes Akufo-Addo administration for falling short of expectations

Popular Ghanaian broadcaster and fashion icon, Kofi Okyere Darko, known as KOD, has voiced his disappointment with the current administration led by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
KOD had high hopes that Akufo-Addo’s administration would surpass the achievements of Kwame Nkrumah, celebrated for his visionary leadership and significant contributions to Ghana’s socio-economic development.
In an interview with Bernard Avle, KOD expressed that the nation’s current state does not reflect the progress he had anticipated.
He recalled his support for President Akufo-Addo in 2008, driven by the president’s plans for the creative sector and the orange economy.
KOD believed that Akufo-Addo had the potential to elevate Ghana to new heights, comparable to the transformative leadership of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
