IGP Dampare Seeks Family Collaboration in Takoradi Hotel Death Probe
The Inspector General of Police, IGP Dr. George Akuffo Dampare has asked the family of 24-year-old Lois Abena Koranteng, who died in a hotel at Takoradi last month to collaborate with the police to unravel circumstances leading to her death.
A statement by the Police follows uproar from the family of the deceased expressing displeasure about the autopsy report.
According to the statement, the IGP placed a phone call to the family to apologize to them for the lack of adequate information and update on the investigation.
It further said, for the Police to continue to work closely with the family as investigation into the incident continues.
