Ministry of Works and Housing receives bids for Saglemi Housing project completion
The Ministry of Works and Housing has received five bids for the completion of over 1,500 unfinished units of the Saglemi Housing project.
The evaluation of these bids will be conducted by an independent entity, which will be selected with the assistance of the Public Procurement Authority (PPA) on Wednesday, according to the sector minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah.
The PPA will help the ministry select an independent evaluation entity from a pre-qualified list of four organizations.
This entity will be responsible for evaluating the five bids and submitting a report as part of the government’s transparent process to secure a partner for the Saglemi Housing project.
Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah informed the media that the selected accounting firm would present the evaluation report within seven days.
Following the submission of the report, the preferred bidder will be selected to complete the project.
The Ministry has received five bids and has requested the Public Procurement Authority to help select an independent evaluation entity.
The PPA has pre-qualified four organizations, from which one will be selected on Wednesday. Within seven days of this selection, the evaluation report is expected, which will determine the preferred bidder.
